GangBang is the team deathmatch mode. Two gangs fight and the team with the most kills wins.

What game modes are in Hood Warfare 2?

Hood Warfare 2 ships with six multiplayer modes. The descriptions below come from the official Steam store page; the “classic equivalent” column maps each one to the familiar Call of Duty-style format it resembles.

Mode Classic equivalent Win condition
Turf War Domination Hold territory to earn points
GangBang Team Deathmatch Most team kills
Chaos Free-for-All Most individual kills
Hit A Lick Capture the Flag Steal the enemy bag and bring it home
Destroy The Block Search and Destroy Plant or defuse the bomb, one life per round
Chain Snatch Kill Confirmed Collect enemy chains, deny theirs

All modes share the same four maps — see the maps guide.

Turf War

Gangs fight for control of turf around the map. Your team earns points for the territory it holds, so the goal is to take zones and push the other gang off theirs. Spreading out to hold more than one zone usually beats stacking on a single point.

GangBang

The classic team shootout: two gangs go head-to-head and the gang with the most kills wins. It is the simplest way to learn weapons and spawns, which makes it the best first mode for new players (see how to play).

Chaos

Every player for themselves — there is no gang loyalty in this mode. The player with the most kills comes out on top.

Hit A Lick

Take the bag from the enemy’s hood and bring it back to yours, while keeping an eye on your own bag as your crew goes after theirs. It plays like capture the flag: split your team between runners and defenders.

Destroy The Block

One gang has the bomb and the other has to stop them. Plant or defuse to win, with only one life per round — the slowest, most tactical mode in the game.

Chain Snatch

Getting the kill is only half the job. Snatch the chains enemies drop to earn points, and pick up your teammates’ chains before the other gang does. Hands-on players note that teams can lose Chain Snatch with plenty of kills simply by not collecting chains (TposeGaming).

Can you play the modes against bots?

Yes. According to Steam, you can set up a match against bots: choose the map, mode and match settings, and add bots to fill out the teams. It is a useful way to practise a mode before queueing with real players. To see how many real players are online right now, check the player count.
